The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently checking out the Fernie 2 Group Hall in Mpuluzi to render companies into the community.

SASSA will be rendering providers for instance new social grant applications, change of payment method, client care enquiries, in addition to the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In an announcement, the agency claimed it can be alarmed in regards to the higher range of people depending on social grants for survival.
“The intention on the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out into a higher number of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This can be as a result of lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no absolutely functional office committed to service the area each day. The service issue designed for intervention experiences a significant influx of opportunity beneficiaries, which makes it tough for your Workplace to attend to all people who check out a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise additional assets to enable the servicing of all prospects and enhance entry to Social Assistance services,” the agency website said.
